Froyo Performances 

Hmmm, no picture today! I forgot to take one. Anyways! The day went by alright, great weather. I failed my bio test for sure despite my efforts in preparing in advanced. I actually participated in quiz bowl today, very surprising. Got home and completely bummed til dinner time. Then I went on a froyo run with siddhi, @neverrlosehope, and @markcomiaaa! Trying to harmonize in red mango, winning the people eating froyo over, indian accidents “ko chi”, and chinese fire drill. Good times, good times. :)

WOOOOP it is the end of the first month of 2012. It seems like it went by pretty fast.

• At the end of last year I bought a bunch of lotions from Bath and Body Works because of their end of the year sale. The first lotion I picked up was called sparking berry bliss and I’ve been using it every day ever since. It smells exactly like blueberry muffins with a hint of extra sugary tang. 
• My second favorite this month is my eos passion fruit. It’s my favorite flavor from eos so far. 
• My favorite app this month is tiny tower. >< I stopped playing already and I believe I reached 53 floors. It just got so tiring. 
• And my fourth favorite is not in the image above because I cannot find the dress online. It is my debut entrance dress. The dress is by Bill Levkoff. It was sangria purple and had a helm (captain’s steering wheel) shaped broach under the bust line attached to a layering bow. It had a sweetheart neckline and my italian seamstress altered the dress from a size 10 to a size 0. :) I absolutely adore the dress and I’m desperate to find another place to wear it to.

I learned some lessons the hard way.

I never want to rely on someone. I never want to fend for someone else.

Done.

This weekend was craaazy. I had so much to do and places to go. Yesterday I finally got my dead ends trimmed and my hair feels sooo much better now. And I got 12 hours of sleep last night! I knocked out at like 9pm haha. The last time I got 12 hours of sleep must’ve been some time over the summer. I don’t even remember.

On my trip to Ulta on Friday, I added two new nail polishes after not buying any since.. September? Which says a lot considering my obsession this past summer… Anyways I love the combination of these two. They remind me of my debut, which is the main reason why I bought them both. The one on the left is a deep, plum purple which sometimes looks like a deep brown in dim light. The polish on the right is pretty unique. The consistency is really watery which makes it transparent. So when it’s coated on top of a color, it sort of pearlizes it. Or makes it look pearly… lol Both polishes by OPI. I forgot how expensive my taste in polishes can be. Each retailing at $8.50

TGIF. Thank goodness this week is over. I’m so relieved.

Anyways, today went pretty smoothly. School was alright, it started to get a little overwhelming but it ebbed over before it got too much. After school I went to Ulta with @agaranthus and jalisa and was warmly welcomed by a fully stocked display of the infamous Naked palettes :) Sometimes I wish I was into eye shadows enough to be willing to spend $50 on them… 

Afterwards, I went home to eat some dinner then get ready to go to @neverrlosehope ‘s house for movie night! THAT’S RIGHT. MILAGROS’S HOUSE. NOT SANTI’S. BOOM.

I wish I was so passionate about something else. Like dancing… knitting, OR SOMETHING. That just doing okay in school was fine because I was so freaking talented in something else. It didn’t matter. I’d be known for something else. I’d invest myself in something else.

Gah. Today is a depressing day for grades. My debut definitely took its toll and compromised my grades for the second marking period. But there’s not much left I can do since the marking period ended today. Poop.

I was dropped on my tail bone shortly after the three person piggy back ride. Painful.

I feel at ease. 

I hope this feeling lasts.

Today was dreary and my lazy mood from last night carried into today. Senioritis has been proliferating and damaging my work ethic severely. Especially after my debut, I feel washed out. I’m just anticipating snow days and delayed openings due to underclassmen testing. I knew there had to be other perks of being a senior. :)

Today AP Bio went to the DNA Learning Center. We performed a lab extracting our own DNA. Honestly, I was falling asleep whenever I wasn’t doing something with my hands.

In other news, I got my basic license this past Friday. And I can legally drive more than one person in my car. I realized I also can buy from those commercials where you have to be 18 years or older to call. In retrospect, I never throught this day would come. The rite of passage of where I will now be viewed as an adult by everyone. A lot of my family members were crying and telling me how fast time has passed us by. I just stood there thinking it’s not really a big deal. But after a couple days of thinking about it, it is a big deal. I’m no longer that little girl and they can’t force themselves to deny how old I’m getting. Actually, I can’t believe it myself.
